You’re invited to join us for another tasting of rare whiskey and spirits this Tuesday, April 23rd at 7pm. We’ll be tasting through a fun mix of bourbon, scotch, mezcal and more. This includes several fun new barrel picks exclusive to our club that just arrived:
Single Cask Nation 11yo Inchgower single malt scotch, finished for 26 months in a sherry hogshead,
Duncan Taylor Octave - Aultmore Single Malt Scotch, distilled in 2008, botted in 2022, aged 13 years. 1 of 72 bottles, 52.1% abv.
Duncan Taylor Octave - Royal Brackla Single Malt Scotch, distilled in 2011, bottled in 2018, aged 7 years. 52.4% abv.
Spirits of French Lick - 4yo Bourbon “The Maddie Gladden” - a distillery located in Indianapolis (not MGP, it’s their own distillery)
The much-talked-about Empirical x Doritos bottle - vacuum distilled, using a base malt that is fermented with Kogi, and then an entire bag of nacho cheese Doritos was macerated into each bottle! Needs to be tasted to be believed.
Plus a few surprise mezcal and other pours. As usual, we’ll order in light food (included, likely pizza), to make sure nobody is drinking on an empty stomach, and arranging a ride home is highly encouraged.
