Hello Austin Drammers!

On Wednesday, April 2nd, we’re hosting a tasting with the co-founder of RD1 Spirits. Barry Brinegar is the both the co-founder and the National Brand Champion for RD1, an NDP located in Lexington, KY, which draws its name from the historic Ashland Distillery, which was founded in 1865 as the first registered distillery in Lexington. Barry will be walking us through 5 expressions at this tasting:

RD1’s flagship - Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
RD1 Bourbon - Finished in French Oak Casks
RD1 Bourbon - Finished in Amburana Casks
RD1 Bourbon - Finished in Oak and Maple Barrels
RD1 Bourbon - 10yo Amburana Finish Limited Edition

We’ll order in light food (likely pizza) which is included with your ticket. And as always, everyone needs to arrange a ride home for this event (12 pours!).
