On Friday, April 26th at 8pm EST / 5pm Pacific (in the US), we’ll be hosting a special online tasting and distillery tour with the founders of High Wire Distilling — Ann Marshall and Scott Blackwell. For those of you in the Charleston area, we’ll be transmitting live from the distillery, featuring a tour of the facility where we’ll be joined by Alexander Helms, their Head Distiller, not to mention a regular at our events in Charleston! We’ll also be joined by their National Sales Director Jay Liddell, also a fellow Drammer! We’ll be tasting through their entire range of products, including two new single barrels our club selected of their trademark 100% Jimmy red corn bourbon, an unusual and distinctive mashbill that we’ll be talking a lot about at the event. The headliner bottle for the event will be their special 10 year anniversary release, a $300 bottle that was released in October of last year at a big party in Charleston to celebrate their 10 year anniversary, which we were proud to attend in person! Of course we picked up a couple bottles of the special release while we were there!
We also worked with our retail partner DRINQY.com to bring in their entire range of products to make them readily available to our members. Together we’ll be tasting 10 expressions in all:

Jimmy Red Corn Bourbon - Drammers Single Barrel Pick #1 featuring an experimental wine yeast in the fermentation. 57.6% abv.
Jimmy Red Corn Bourbon - Drammers Single Barrel Pick #2 featuring their newer production process using air dried barrel staves. 59.55% abv.
