Aug. 14: Drammers Austin -w- Natterjack Irish Whiskey.......

Hello Austin Drammers!

On August 14th at 7pm, we’re hosting a really fun hybrid event — part guest speaker, part (optional) bottle share. The focus will be on Natterjack Irish Whiskey, and interesting blend of single malt and corn whiskey distilled in Ireland (as we understand it, the company doesn’t have a distillery yet, but is working on getting their own distillery up and running). We’ve been wanting to do an event with their Texas State Manager Charles Wright III for a while now, the only issue being — they only have 3 expressions. So, we’re doing this as a hybrid event. Charles will be our guest speaker, and will bring the 3 expressions (The Natterjack, a cask strength version of The Natterjack, and a newer expression they call “The Mistake” — which they call a “very” heavily oaked take on the Natterjack.

And otherwise it’ll be an Irish whiskey bottle share. So, please feel free to bring a bottle of Irish whiskey to join in the fun (though there is no obligation to bring a bottle, we’re sure there’ll be plenty to drink as always).

We’ll order in pizza as usual (included), and of course we ask that everyone arrange a ride home, as we’ll no doubt be drinking plenty of high proof stuff.
