Hello San Francisco Drammers!
You're invited to join us for a special tasting on Saturday, Nov. 8th at 7pm with an industry legend -- Ashok Chokalingam is the head of distilling and international sales for the great Amrut Indian Single Malt Distillery, located in Bangalore. Ashok is widely recognized in the industry not only for building this distillery into India's leading Indian single malt, but also for creating the pathway for world whisky generally. He logged in over 300,000 miles on the road, working for many years to establish the brand, and with those accomplishments under his belt, he does not travel nearly as much these days. We've had the honor of welcoming Ashok a number of times over the years to Drammers Club, but this will be the only event where we will welcome him in person this year, making it a very rare opportunity to hear directly from the master himself.
Needless to say, we're huge fans of this distillery and are proud to say we've got our own Drammers-exclusive single cask or their single malt finished in an ex-rye cask! We'll be trying that at this event along with:

We'll order in light food (likely pizza), which is included with your ticket, and as always we ask that everyone arrange a ride home / nobody drives home after the event.
