Hello NYC Drammers!

We’re thrilled to invite you to a special tasting with Bunnahabhain’s Master Blender, Julieann Fernandez on Oct. 7th at 7pm. Julieann needs little introduction — overseeing the full array of Scotch distilleries in the CVH portfolio that includes Bunnahabhain, Deanston and Tobermory/Ledaig. We have the pleasure of visiting with her each year at their big annual festival in May (Feis Ile) and of course we have a big online event coming up with Julieann as well focusing on bottles from the 2025 Feis. But they have a lot of exciting new releases coming to the US as well, and so we’re going to be digging into a mostly different lineup for this in person event, as well as events in Austin and Dallas later in the week. The lineup is a little bit in flux, maybe some earlier Feis bottlings, maybe a 25yo, a 1988 marsala bottling and more. That’s still being finalized, but in the meantime, we wanted to make sure to let our members know so that you can save the date and start to make arrangements to join — as honestly, a chance for an in person tasting with Julieann (other than flying to Scotland in May for the big festival) is an insanely rare treat!

We hope you can join us. Charlie and Summer will be hosting this one at their apartment (message for details if you don’t have it). We’ll order in light food (likely pizza), which is included in your ticket. Please let us know if you have any questions, and as always, we ask that nobody drive home after the event (keep in mind we’ll be drinking a lot of high-proof expressions!).
